Leslie’s been developing confident leaders for over 18 years as an educator, coach and consultant. She earned her doctorate degree in organizational change and leadership from the University of Southern California where her research was about understanding the pathways that organizations can create to promote the most underrepresented demographic in the senior leadership pipeline: women of color. Fuelled by her unwavering commitment to advancing women leaders, Leslie founded So She Leads, a company dedicated to inspiring and empowering women. So She Leads is a curated collection of apparel, gifts, and leadership resources designed to ignite a fire within women and girls, empowering them on their unique leadership journeys.

Years of studying and collaborating with leaders from all backgrounds has enabled Leslie to understand and confront barriers and biases that women encounter professionally. Since she believes the world will be a better place with more women leaders at the top, she developed The LEAD Zone, a model designed to help women expand their comfort zones into a space where they allow the best versions of themselves lead.
